Despite the fact that Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series are anything but underrated, we feel like it should get a little more spotlight. The show was truly phenomenal. Before the series were abruptly cancelled in the middle of the 6th season production, we had the chance to immerse ourselves into the world of Star Wars, profoundly explore our favorite characters and meet new heroes that didn’t get the chance to shine on the big screen. In fact, one of the things that made Clone Wars series even better than the prequels were the lightsaber battles. We’ve had so many of those: Jedi against Sith, Sith against Jedi and Jedi against Jedi. Would you like to re-live the fond memories of the Clone Wars by checking some of the most impressive lightsaber duels? Good, may the Force be with you!
Darth Maul and Savage Opress against Darth Sidious. This is what happens when Palpy goes down to clean up his mess and teach his former apprentice one more lesson. Aa you can see, his fighting style is phenomenally agile and smooth, Though, clearly, he doesn’t even need to pop his lightsabers. Without a doubt, he would’ve force-choked the Sith brothers if he wanted to right from the start. You can tell that Sidious was simply toying with Maul and Savage.
Darth Sidious against Yoda. It’s basically a recreation of an actual fight that is going to happen between Darth Sidious and Yoda in episode III. This time, it was Yoda who managed to have an upper hand. Unfortunately, Sidious learned from his mistakes and put up a fight worthy of the Sith Lord later in the movie(remember when he threw a senate at Yoda?).
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi against Count Dooku. This how the battle between those three was supposed to happen in the second episode. I mean it should have been like that. Instead, we had a boiled down version you can barely call a duel. This fight, on the other hand, is a masterpiece! Take a look at how elegant Dooku’s fighting style is. Also, check out how synced Anakin and Obi Wan are, that’s what I call team work!
