Just out of nowhere we saw the first poster for Black Panther with a promise of witnessing the first trailer later that day. Before we get to the trailer itself, let’s just stop for second to talk about the poster. We see an unmasked Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther sitting on a throne. The poster would’ve been great if it weren’t for the poor Photoshop job. It looks like Chadewick Boseman’s head was simply floating as if it was slapped onto the green screen. What’s the deal with Marvel poster these days? After Spider-Man: Homecoming, it’s the second poster that’s been torn apart by the fans. Here’s the poster itself:
The first teaser starts with the interrogation of Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis) by Everett Ross (Martin Freeman). Also, we got to see some kickass Black Panther action as he beats the life out of bad guys and walks around in his bulletproof suit. We got our first glimpses of the world of Wakanda, which showcases an advanced African country hidded from the rest of the world ruled by T’Challa, balancing his royal respinsibilities with all the superhero stuff. And all of that swashbuckling adventures are companied by the awesome Run the Jewel’s “Legend Has It”, which sets the tone for the whole movie. Check out the teaser-trailer below:
The movie is set to hit theaters February 16, 2018.
