Stop Everything And Watch The First Thor: Ragnarok Trailer

April 10, 2017

The 1st Thor: Ragnarok trailer is upon and we have to say – it was quite spoilery. So much so that in the first seconds of the teaser trailer we say Thor’s hammer destroyed by the movie’s main villain – Hela (who looks totally glorious by the way).

Another big selling point for the movie is the Hulk, who is apparently the star gladiator and crowd’s favorite on the planet Sakaar. We saw the Big Green in the gladiator armor throw himself into battle with Thor, which is pretty exciting, but should it really be in the first teaser trailer. We also got the first glimpses of Heimdall, Grandmaster and Valkyrie.

The movie definitely gives off a Guardians of the Galaxy vibe, as it seems like it is going to be a wacky space stuff. Fun, but a little bit odd at the same time, because we sort of expected a much darker tone here. It seems like every trailer these days needs to be scored by either a sad cover version of a famous pop song or a fun rock song. And Thor’s 1st trailer follows the GotG trope with the inclusion of Led Zeppelin’s “Immigrant Song”, which, truth be told, suits the trailer amazingly. However, do you have any concerns that the movie might be a little too light-hearted?

Another minor gripe is the CG in the trailer, it looks kind of unfinished. What do you think about it?

Anyway, judging by the outfits, the makeup and the presence of fabulous Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster – it is either going to be the best movie ever or the worst movie ever. Finger crossed for Taika Waititi to pull it off! On the whole it look amazing and super colorful, so what’s it gonna be for you – Team Thor or Team Hulk?

Oh, and one last thing: this moment was hilarious, wasn’t it?

As you know, the movie stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Cate Blanchett, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Jeff Goldblum, Mark Ruffalo and Karl Urban. Thor: Ragnarok is going to hit theaters on November 3, 2017.
