The premiere of the much anticipated DC movie is just around the corner, so Warner Bros. decided to amp up the excitement for the blockbuster by releasing the final trailer that finally confirmed (as if anyone doubted) that Superman is going to be in the movie. However, WB confirmed it in a very clever way: they revealed Henry Cavill’s Clark Kent in Lois Lane’s (Amy Adams) dream sequence. I’ll take that as a confirmation!
The trailer is filled with lots of new footage, which includes Aquaman (Jason Momoa) misunderstanding the saying about strength and unity, Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) standing all righteous on top of a golden statue, and Cyborg (Ray Fisher) holding a holographic display of some sorts! In addition, we saw the Flash (Ezra Miller) tapping into Speed Force and tripping over some stairs, so it seems that we’ll see the Flash in his earlier stages of flashing about.
Everything in the trailer looks incredibly polished and the colours have been noticeably tweaked to make it less Snydery. Unfortunately, the trailer didn’t show anything to make me more hyped up for the movie. It looked like a pretty standard, zero stakes blockbuster movie (hopefully, a good one). Without any further ado, check out the trailer and share your thoughts on it!
Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
Justices League will be released on November 17, 2017.
